This model has a factory installed SoundTraxx Onboard Econami sound decoder. The sound operates in both DC and DCC environments. When operating in DC, the engine, horn and bell sounds will work. Full DCC functionality when operating in DCC such as ability to program a multiple unit (MU) lashup with lead unit only horn, bell and lights. Many functions can be altered via Configuration Value (CV) changes - CV chart included. Excellent slow speed control and operating light function with F5. Engine start-up sound sequence included, along with extra prime mover and horn sounds are recorded from a real EMD 12-645E3. Dynamic brake sound or Non-Dynamic straight to idle on F4.
