The Athearn Ready To Roll NEW YORK CENTRAL ALCO RS-3 is a standard DC model that has only been collected and not used on a layout.  I have track tested the locomotive to make sure the main features work as expected.  The model is equipped with a DCC 8- or 9-pin plug for quick conversion from DC to DCC
