The ALCO FA-FB series of locomotives were produced by the American Locomotive Company between 1946 and 1950.  Both the FA-1 and FB-1 were originally equipped with 1,500 horsepower motors.  The HO scale model set is nicely detailed and features crisp paint and lettering, directional lights and functioning couplers
