- Sharp painting and lettering taken from photographs of the prototype, and numbering that matches the class numbers for each operator or railroad. These containers come with the exterior posts already painted to match the aluminum color of the prototype containers and galvanized coloring for the upper and lower structural channels.
- MONON roof configuration is a unique feature. The roof overhanging the top structural channel at the front end of the container with shortened vertical framing members. The forward corners of the roof overhang were notched 45 degrees. The Class One Model Works model will contain this detail that differentiates this container from other models.
- Accurate scale door latching details include highly detailed cast door locking bars, latching mechanisms, door bumpers and angled bar lifter.
- Additional details include:
- -lifting stiffeners molded into upper channel
- -correct front-end roof overhang with notched corners and lowered front frame, as found on the MONON containers
- -fully painted exterior posts to match bare aluminum of the prototype and galvanized finish paint for the upper and lower side channels
- -locating pins are molded into the base for easy stacking
- -highly-detailed, accurate door latches and handles with door bumpers on middle hinge and angled bar lifter
