The Southern Pacific C-50-3 Riveted Steel Side Bay-Window caboose is a great representation of the caboose design evolution as freight cars and auto-carriers became taller obstructing the forward vision of the crew members in the caboose.  The modern bold SOUTHERN PACIFIC lettering is positioned left of the bay-window and the bay-wndow and  body ends are painted orange.  The model is in beautiful like new condition having only been out for these photographs.
Additional Information:
  • fully assembled brass scale model
  • factory painted freight car brown with orange bay-window/ body ends and white lettering
  • no couplers installed. Coupler mount screws included in parts package
  • Imported by Challenger Imports in 2002
  • Manufactured By Boo-Rim Precision in South Korea
